He was a 2023 British Photography Awards shortlisted photographer, was awarded Highly Commended in the 2024 Photography Foundation Awards, has had work exhibited at the Glasgow Gallery of Photography, and most recently won Silver and an Honourable Mention at the 2025 International Analog Sparks photography competition in Architecture and Landscape, alongside having work published in the 2026 <em>Frayme<\/em> Analog Photography Book. He is currently working on several larger photography projects and will be part of an exhibited by <em>Frayme<\/em> in Amsterdam, later in 2026.<\/p><p>His photography is always searching for the innate beauty in our world, shaped by simple lines, simple colours, singular angles or perspectives, and only the occasional subject. It&#8217;s minimalist work at heart, but whether he is capturing the geometry of architectural facades, misty cliffs dropping into the ocean, or an undulating volcanic landscape filled with craters for grape vines, he wants people to feel the simple enchantment of the world around them, and encourage them to look for it in their own lives. <br><br>Jack also shoots exclusively on film, encouraging a slower, more considered approach to the creation and consumption of photographs.
