Coastal walking is ingrained into the culture of the British Isles. There is a sense of \u2018earthing\u2019 that takes place when we are coastal walking. Our smallness in the face of the ocean and the undulating land grounds us, re-calibrates us and hones in our awareness of our own lives a little better.
