Little People on Top of Cliffs

Coastal walking is ingrained into the culture of the British Isles.

There is a sense of ‘earthing’ that takes place when we are coastal walking. Our smallness in the face of the ocean and the undulating land grounds us, re-calibrates us and hones in our awareness of our own lives a little better. I’ve tried to capture this sense of our insignificance by shooting people in these scenes as if they’re little ants, traversing these majestic topographies, seeking connection with themselves and the world around them.
