Australian Facades
Silver award winner in Architecture in the 2025 Analog Sparks International Photography competition.
Three different buildings that symbolise the dynamic between a structure and it’s environment. I took a train journey up the east coast of the country in 2025, and came to the conclusion that the sky is as crucial an element of the architecture as the architecture itself. These structures feel less like objects imposed upon their surroundings and more like something growing out of them, in response to the sun and the sky. As integral and harmonious as trees and flowers.
Shot in Melbourne and Sydney, on mixed film.
