Jack Bochow is an Australian photographer based in the UK. He was a 2023 British Photography Awards shortlisted photographer, was awarded Highly Commended in the 2024 Photography Foundation Awards and most recently won a Silver award in the International Analog Sparks photography competition. He will have work exhibited in Scotland at the Glasgow Gallery of Photography in December 2024, and aims to get more exhibitions in 2025. His photography is always searching for the innate beauty in details, whether in facades, paths, beaches or forests, he wants people to feel the beauty of the world around them, and encourage them to look for it in their own lives.
Jack also shoots mostly on film, encouraging a slower, more considered approach to the creation and consumption of photographs. He wants to promote a higher perception of the value of image making in photography, given the power photos have to make us think and feel.
